Our Frequently asked questions

We book up popular wedding dates very quickly so the sooner you would like to secure your date with us the better! Commonly we book 6-9 months out, however we have clients  book even 18 months in advance. Please don't hesitate to reach out to see if we have availability for your date! 

Yes! We prefer to as well! We ensure your cake arrives to it's location in pristine condition. We will also add on a cake topper and any fresh flowers. Delivery is typically $60 however to Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago you can expect a $200 delivery fee. 

Yes! We love to be a part of life's best celebrations! 

We can accommodate 4 total guests at our cake tastings. The two of you are complimentary. To add on an additional place setting is $15 per person. Our appointment will take 45 minutes - 1 hour. You will be able to taste our entire menu and choose your favorite combinations. We will go over design, sizing and all of the details of your wedding. 

We do offer Gluten Free cakes, however at this time we are unable to accommodate Vegan cakes. Please let us know if you have any guests with nut allergies and we will take the proper precautions in our kitchen. Our kitchen does contain nuts and we recommend those with severe allergies use their own judgment when eating cake. 

If we do have availability for your wedding cake, we will schedule a tasting and consultation. Once we have your flavors, details and design we are able to send you an estimate. Upon approval a  contract will be made and a 50% deposit will save your date. All final details, updated guest count and final payment will be made approximately 30 days from your event. 

We do not cut your cake, your caterer will cut and plate your cake. An experienced caterer has cut many cakes and they will know how to cut our wedding cakes. 

During our consultation we will ask you if you'd like to save your top tier. If yes, we will make note and provide your caterer or venue  with a box (( we never forget this)  as well as let them know you would like to save the cake. Designate someone trustworthy who won't drop or eat the cake to grab it at the end of the night. Try to get your cake into the freezer right away. If it has not been wrapped directly with plastic wrap, do so before freezing. 

Likely yes! We get around and are a preferred cake provider at most venues in our area. If we haven't been to your venue we will do our research. Thank you so much for thinking of us! We will be delivering your wedding cake often during your ceremony or just into cocktail hour and we won't be around during dinner time.  We often find ourselves getting take out, Sentry sushi or Meggy Moo's.  Thank you though!!
